The prices are modest. The catch isn't the cost — it's that the counter takes cash only, and the nearest ATM is 25 kilometres away.
Here's everything the ticket window will ask of you. Read the note under the first table twice.
| Ticket | Non-Malaysian | Malaysian |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | RM30 | RM5 |
| Child | RM15 | RM2 |
| Camera fee (phones included) | RM10 per device | |
One ticket is valid all day. That covers both feedings and the nursery — leave at the midday closure, come back at three, same ticket.

| Centre | Non-Malaysian | Malaysian |
|---|---|---|
| Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre — adult / child | RM50 / RM25 | RM10 / RM5 |
| Rainforest Discovery Centre — adult / child | RM30 / RM20 | RM7 / RM3 |
| RDC guided night walk | RM30 per person — book at the counter before 17:00 | |
One mercy: the Sun Bear Centre takes cards and e-wallets. The RDC, like the orangutan centre, does not.
A non-Malaysian adult doing all three centres: RM30 + RM50 + RM30, plus RM10 camera and RM1 locker. Call it RM121 — about thirty US dollars for the best wildlife day in Borneo. Budget cash for lunch and the night walk on top.
Yes. Every package on the tours page includes all entrance fees, which quietly deletes the cash-only problem. Camera fees are the usual exclusion — keep RM10 notes handy either way.
Only at the Sun Bear Centre. The orangutan centre and RDC are cash only.
Yes — RM10 per device, phones included, and rangers do check. It funds the centre; pay it cheerfully.
All day — out at noon, back at two, both feedings on one ticket.
The published rates are the four above, split by nationality and age. MyKad holders get the Malaysian rate — bring ID.
