Both feedings. The sun bears. The canopy at hornbill height. One road makes the whole day possible — here it is, hour by hour, with lunch in the middle.
- 09:15 — orangutan centre. Tickets, lockers, boardwalk. Rail spot by 09:40 for the 10:00 feeding.
- 10:45 — the outdoor nursery. Stay as long as it holds you — it will. The education hall documentary fills any gap.
- 11:45 — cross the road. The Sun Bear Centre (cards accepted here, for once). The world's smallest bears, from raised walkways, best before the midday drowse sets in.
- 12:45 — lunch. The resort restaurants along the reserve road all serve non-guests.
- 14:00 — the Rainforest Discovery Centre. The canopy walkway: 347 metres of steel path, 25 metres up. Hornbill territory.
- 15:00 — choose your ending. Back for the second feeding on the morning's ticket — if the 10:00 platform was quiet, this is your second roll of the dice. Or stay aloft at the RDC while the forest changes shift.
- 16:00 — done. The centre clears out promptly. Pre-book your return transport — the gate pick-up catch is real.
Staying the night instead of rushing back? Everything above relaxes, and the 6pm night walk becomes possible — the two hours day-trippers can't have. That's the two-to-three-day shape, and it's the one people wish they'd planned.
